The bath ratio is of decisive importance if you want a perfect wash and gentle treatment of your linen. The ratio between dry linen in kilograms and washing bath should be 1:5, i.e. 5 litres of washing bath for 1 kg of laundry. Recommended ratio of dry linen to drum volume of washing machine is 1:10 for flat linen and 1:12 for terry towels. The ratio of dry linen to drum volume of the tumble drier should be 1:25 for flat linen and terry towels. Please do not overload your washing machine. This could cause considerable shrinkage, an increase in the amount of creasing, greying and disappointing washing results as well as premature wear and tear as a result of the fabric being damaged.
