Problems regarding external links
According to the general laws, a domain owner is responsible for the content that is provided and offered for use by him. A difference has to be made between the content offered by a domain owner and the links to third-party websites. By offering links, we are providing third-party content for use. We are only responsible for the content of third-party websites if we are informed of illegal or punishable content and it is technically possible and reasonable for us to prevent the use of this content.
The links are to constantly changing content. At the time of the initial link up, we checked the website to be sure that there was no illegal content and that we could not be held responsible under civil law or criminal law. However, according to the law we are not obliged to constantly check the content. We can only remove a link when we notice that it leads to illegal content or when someone points this out to us and if this technically possible and reasonable.
Since we have no influence on the content of a website to which a link refers, we hereby expressly dissociate ourselves from all content of the linked pages that was revised after the links had been set. The provider alone is responsible for the incorrect and illegal content of the pages in question.
